
Jeffrey S. Bovarnick, an attorney admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and Florida, is ARM's founder and managing director. He has practiced law for more than seventeen (17) years and has represented clients in matters relating to real estate, bankruptcy, collection, business, and litigation.
In 1998, Mr. Bovarnick and his former law partners started buying "charged-off" or "distressed" debt portfolios. Instantly, Mr. Bovarnick believed that his legal experience and business skills were a perfect fit for the debt buying business. As a result, he left the partnership in July, 1999, to form ARM. Since that time, he has utilized his collection, real estate, bankruptcy and litigation experience, and his business management skills, to catapult ARM into a prosperous debt buying entity.
Mr. Bovarnick's responsibilities include office management and administration, analyzing and purchasing the debt portfolios, overseeing the collection efforts, and investor relations.
Mr. Bovarnick is known throughout the debt buying industry. He has set a presence and achieved a solid reputation. In fact, Mr. Bovarnick has been a featured speaker at industry conferences presented by the Asset Buyers' Division, which is a division of the American Collectors Association ("ACA"). Debt sellers, resellers, and brokers call, e-mail and fax buying opportunities to us on a daily basis.
The business has grown to include one full time employee and one part time employee. Tammy Seully is the full time employee. Her responsibilities include collection, office administration, and legal liaison. Ms. Seully brings ten years of collection experience having worked for collection agencies and a law firm specializing in consumer debt collection. Lynn Goldstein works part time for ARM. Her responsibilities include skip tracing, asset location and collection. Ms. Goldstein is a duly-licensed private investigator with extensive experience working for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in her own business.
